McLean, VA -- (June 2, 2015) Republican candidate for Dranesville Supervisor, Jennifer Chronis, announces that she has raised over $100,000 in a mere fifteen weeks of campaigning. In the most recent fundraising report, April 1 through May 27, she raised over $45,000.

In a statement, Chronis said "I am invigorated by the support I have received from the community. Every time I knock on a door, go to a community meeting, or have coffee with a small group of people, I hear loud and clear that stronger leadership and a fresh perspective are desperately needed on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. I have received support from Dranesville residents that span the political spectrum; Republicans, Independents, and Democrats. This most recent fundraising report shows that Dranesville voters are ready for a change."

Since Chronis' announcement on February 11th, she has raised $104,442 from over 300 individual donors. This recent report saw $45,465 raised from 123 individual donors. In strong contrast, the incumbent John Foust has only raised $81,242 since January 1, 2015 and has $38,273 on hand going into the last five months of the campaign. Chronis has a 2 to 1 cash on hand advantage, despite Foust being in office for 8 years.
